When work is asking a new question
There is a particular kind of career uncertainty that can arrive after 40. You may be good at what you do, trusted by the people around you, and grateful for the stability it has given you. Still, a question keeps returning: is this work using the best of me, or am I simply very good at carrying on?
Perhaps you are looking at a role that no longer fits your energy. Perhaps you have been away from paid work while caring for a family and cannot see a clear route back. Perhaps you want to use your experience differently, make a creative idea more real, or stop letting an old job title decide what is possible for you now.
Career clarity coaching with Stacey gives that question a place to land. It is not about forcing a dramatic reinvention. It is about separating the pressure, noise, and other people's expectations from what you are genuinely ready to explore.
What a clearer career direction can make possible
Get past the vague feeling that something is off and understand whether you need a change of role, rhythm, environment, visibility, or direction.
Reconnect with the experience, strengths, and values that are easy to overlook when you have been busy keeping everything moving.
Leave with a practical next conversation, research step, boundary, or experiment instead of another overwhelming list of possibilities.
This work may fit if
You may be considering a career change, but have not yet decided whether it is the work itself, the place you do it, or the way it fits into the rest of your life that needs to change. You may want a fresh start, while also needing to respect your income, family responsibilities, energy, and the experience you have worked hard to build.
You may be returning after a pause and wondering how to describe yourself now. You may be drawn toward a leadership role, consulting, teaching, a creative project, or a business idea, but need room to make it more specific before you announce it to anyone. You may even be doing work you once loved and need help noticing what has shifted.
Stacey brings more than 20 years in marketing, communications, and brand strategy to these conversations. She understands how to look at the story beneath a role, recognise the value in experience that has become familiar to you, and turn a broad desire for change into a next move you can actually assess.
This is not a test of whether you are ambitious enough, grateful enough, or brave enough. It is a chance to get close enough to your own working life to decide what deserves more of your attention.
A focused place to begin
Find Your Next Chapter is for the woman who is tired of going in circles with a career question. Before your session, you will complete a brief intake so Stacey can understand the context, not just the headline. You do not need to write the perfect answer. The point is to arrive with the question as it is.
In your session, you will make room for the part of the story that often gets skipped: what your current work has taught you, what feels heavy or alive now, what you need your next move to protect, and which assumptions may be keeping the path narrower than it needs to be. The conversation can include career direction, confidence, professional visibility, returning to work, or how your work fits alongside a changing family life.
Then you will choose a next step that gives you useful information. It might be a conversation with someone in a field you are considering, a clearer way to describe your value, a boundary that makes room to think, a small portfolio project, or a decision about what not to pursue. The right next step does not have to settle your whole future. It has to help you hear yourself more clearly.
You will receive personalised follow-up resources, so the insight from the session does not disappear the moment you return to your usual week. If your question needs more time, Stacey can also help you decide whether Rediscover + Reinvent is the right next container.
